Consuming Fire Ministries - A Christ Centered Ministry Training For Activation

Soaking is a new word to some but the concept of practicing His presence has been practiced by Christians for hundreds of years. The Church of Christ has forgotten the art of practicing His presence but in the wake of the Renewal, comes to us a fresh revelation of the Father's Heart of God and the 20th century Church has been impacted forever.

Psalms 97:5 (KJV)
The hills melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.

And so we have learned to just stay put, open our hands, close our eyes, and receive, experiencing the most amazing and deepest of changes: forgiveness, healing, renewed strength, visions, commissions, confirmations, affirmation from the Father.

Acts 3:19 (KJV)
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

Taking time to simply be quiet for a few minutes in a day could demand planning and discipline. But what if we would simply "show up" and be silent before God, letting Him pour over us His affection, letting Him reveal our own hearts to ourselves, and as we do, finally learn to become familiar with God's language? In turn, we could just respond by whispering, "Father, I am here to be with you, I let go, I give you, I will do, work in me, heal, save, restore..."

Zephaniah 1:7 (KJV)
Hold thy peace at the presence of the Lord GOD: for the day of the LORD is at hand: for the LORD hath prepared a sacrifice, he hath bid his guests.
